Robbit Patch Notes: 27.0.0-DEV5.2 (r4617)

A new update is now available for Robbit (version 27.0.0-DEV5.2, revision 4617). Patch notes for this version follow.

Robbit "Fondant Fancy" Patch 27, Development Preview 5.2 (7 September 2018)

This is a small hotfix patch which primarily makes changes to the way Chimerion's whitelisting is handled.

Bug Fixes and General Changes

  • Added the /invite command. Any logged in player may use this command to add another player to the whitelist. The person who whitelisted each player is saved to server memory. (The player control system therefore effectively becomes a public whitelist and staff blacklist pair.)
  • The /p who command will now display the whitelist status of a player, along with who whitelisted that player.
  • The server now has a separate maintenance mode whitelist. (Previously the main whitelist was used for that purpose on Asterion)
  • Fixed a user permission check in Logistics Pipes that was looking at the legacy op list.

Robbit Patch Notes: 27.0.0-DEV5.1 (r4600)

A new update is now available for Robbit (version 27.0.0-DEV5.1, revision 4600). Patch notes for this version follow.

Robbit "Fondant Fancy" Patch 27, Development Preview 5.1 (6 September 2018)

I had a few days free, so I figured I'd patch a couple of issues that were bugging me.

Bug Fixes and General Changes

  • Fixed some server thread naming issues which caused Logistics Pipes not to work properly when playing on the dedicated server.
  • Fixed the bug tracker link not working properly after the move from JIRA to GPM.
  • Fixed the combustion generator using an outdated hasContainerItem check.
  • Fixed water bottle not having glass bottle as its container item.
  • Fixed creosote bottle not having glass bottle as its container item.
  • Fixed issue where glass bottles could be turned into water bottles by filling them with non-water liquids.
  • Fixed the shopping NPC skins and custom Robbit capes, which were not working any more due to the Asterion MC closedown.
  • The server side map has been rotated. The previous maps have been moved to the time capsule (map group 1.7F2, loaded as dims 85 and 86).
  • The dedicated server now uses persistent names for server-side worlds in order to avoid renaming map folders when rotating the survival map. These persistent names are also now used by MapWriter when connecting to official servers, which fixes an issue where the map would have weird glitches after the survival map was rotated.
  • The server list now uses the new server URLs of server.robbitmodpack.com and dev.robbitmodpack.com:30000 for the official servers.
  • In the event of chunk corruption, the server now reports the chunk coordinates of the corrupted chunk rather than just unhelpfully crashing.
  • The /dim command now correctly teleports to the spawns of time capsule dimensions rather than putting you in the middle of nowhere. (This fix should work on the Asterion MC legacy map release as well as on the official server.)
  • Chimerion now has the PvE groups enabled.
  • The PvP lobby map (dim 5) can now be explored in the time capsule.
  • Veterans now have orange capes.

Robbit Patch Notes: 27.0.0-DEV5 (r4577)

A new update is now available for Robbit (version 27.0.0-DEV5, revision 4577). Patch notes for this version follow.

Robbit "Fondant Fancy" Patch 27, Development Preview 5 (4 June 2017)

This is quite a big patch for Robbit which aims to update several of the mods to their latest 1.7 releases, since many were grossly outdated. I've also taken this opportunity to introduce a couple of new mods which fit in well with the existing stuff. It's a pretty big patch given that Robbit is basically on emergency life support at this stage 😛

For mods which have been updated, I've opted not to list the full change history. If you're interested in seeing a full list of changes for each mod, you can check out the official changelog for the mod in question.

Anyway, here's the list of changes!

Applied Energistics 2

  • Updated from version rv1-stable-1 to rv3-beta-6.
  • Added Extra Cells version 2.3.14. This extends AE2 with many new cells along with a fluid storage system.

BuildCraft

  • Updated from version 5.0.6 to version 7.1.21.
  • Added the BuildCraft Compat mod, which integrates BuildCraft better with Iron Chests, Forge Multipart, NEI, Railcraft and WAILA. This most notably means that there are now NEI handlers for some of the BuildCraft machines that didn't previously have them (such as the BuildCraft Silicon machines).
  • Added Logistics Pipes version 0.9.3.129, a mod requested by luckcolors. This new mod adds many new types of pipes to BuildCraft and is definitely worth checking out!

Railcraft

  • Updated from version 9.0.0.0 to version 9.12.2.1.

WAILA

  • Updated from version 1.5.2 to version 1.5.10.

Bug Fixes and General Changes

  • Many new 32x32 textures have been added to the Faithful texture pack, which should improve the overall visual appearance of the game.
  • The use of MJ has been replaced with RF in all of the Robbit machines that used MJ as an input or output, mirroring the same change in BuildCraft.
  • The IC2 painter can now be used to remove paint from BuildCraft pipes.
  • Registry destupidifier is now used when retrieving BuildCraft blueprint and template item stacks.
  • Facade registration is now delayed to ensure they get loaded properly and in the right order.
  • Significantly reduced the number of Squid which spawn, because there were way too many and the server was lagging like mad.
  • VanillaMap now prints out display names of unrecognized items to the log file in addition to the registry key that it already printed, making registry destupidification easier.
  • Added tessellation tracing to the development IDE.
  • Added IC2 API documentation to the development IDE.
  • Fixed a server crash when trying to place down end crystals.
  • Fixed custom Robbit BiblioCraft Furniture Panelers not having a TE mapping.
  • Fixed a missing bounding box override in BiblioCraft Borderless Painting Frames.
  • Fixed an issue with the IC2 reactor heat exchanger and reactor heat vent where they would not be properly listed in creative tabs.
  • Fixed the /dim command not working properly on the Chimerion server after the full dim list was restored.
  • Fixed the normal unstained Hardened Clay not having been renamed to Terracotta yet (thanks Jacob!)
  • Fixed one of the double slab blocks being missing from the ServerGuard hide list.

Robbit Patch Notes: 27.0.0-DEV4.3 (r4500)

A new update is now available for Robbit (version 27.0.0-DEV4.3, revision 4500). Patch notes for this version follow.

Robbit "Fondant Fancy" Patch 27, Development Preview 4.3 (30 April 2017)

This is a minor patch which addresses various bugs and issues discovered in the development preview. It also adds a small amount of new content.

Robbit Backcraft

  • Backported Glazed TerracottaConcrete Powder and Concrete from Minecraft 1.12.

Robbit Machines

  • Added the Table Saw, inspired by the Sawmill from Thermal Expansion. This new machine can cut many wooden items down into planks, leaving sawdust behind that you can turn into charcoal. It also cuts planks down into sticks, and metal blocks into plates. A full list of recipes can be looked up in game!

Robbit Microblocks

  • Added microblocks for Concrete.

Bug Fixes and General Changes

  • The spawn world, PvE lobby and Time Capsule are now enabled on the Chimerion private server.
  • Guardians will no longer attack Squids.
  • Carpets can now be turned back into wool.
  • Fixed a large number of bugs with the Opis server profiler.
  • Fixed Nether Uranium Ore failing to spawn. This is a long-standing bug (probably going as far back as the release of Robbit Nether Ores) that nobody ever noticed or reported. FGS!
  • Fixed the JABBA core upgrade recipe being forced to be in the middle column.
  • Fixed the 'Banan Wood Slab' typo.
