http://en.wikipedia....dheld_projector
Basically, devices that look like digital cameras or camcorders, but can project an image, or moving video onto a wall (and sometimes also having the functionality of a camera/camcorder)
Right now, the technology's crap as all handheld projectors show an image at an absurdly low resolution(176x144, 320x240) or the quality is just really bad. But it's getting much better as they've started making LED projectors 'n stuff.

First ever hybrid laptop/tablet computer with a touchscreen.
Any general feature you see on a laptop was first seen on a Thinkpad. Yes, the nipple was annoying as hell, but Trackpads didn't come until the Thinkpad T/R series, which was some of the first laptops to have a Trackpad btw. They featured both a trackpad and nipple.
I think the only Thinkpad now that represents Thinkpads best is the W-series(W500, W700) but, like the Thinkpads of the early 2000s. they are also $2000-3000.

But in all seriousness, I suppose if you pointed that thing at a plane with super-precision, a fighter-jet in particular, you might cause some problems and, potentially, down the plane.
But I doubt this would happen with any modern jet fighter.
Yeah. We got a long way to go.

I'm just picturing a drunk walking up to his car, about to start it, but realizes he's low on fuel... so he walks to the gas cap, opens it, and smashes his beer bottle into it, shattering it, but hey. Refueling his car!

Brilliant idea for old naval use of that era-not good for modern application.
And indeed Britian WWII tanks. Except for that one. That I forget. But all I know is that it was really bad.

No - the fuel the Russian's used. You had zero diesel capacity if I remember correctly. Plus - Germany. That's the bigger reason.
Yes, I just verfied on a tank forum. You guys used gasoline at the cost of 1 gallon per 7 miles. You did not use diesel due to the lack of infrastructure to separate it from kerosene that was used everywhere else. Your tanks ran on petrol; some ran on diesel you bought off the russians or the americans.
