Frequently Asked Question
What are the Ginever Software Licenses, and where can I find the latest versions?
The Ginever Software Licenses are a set of three short license agreements which can be applied to any piece of software. Each of the three licenses is designed for a different purpose. When you download some software from Ginever.net, you may find it is covered by one of these licenses.
The three agreements are as follows:
The Ginever Community License (GCL)
Designed for closed-source programs that can be freely shared. The GCL would typically be applied to a public final or public beta release.
The latest version can be found here: http://media.ginever...license-gcl.txt
The Ginever Development License (GDL)
Designed for closed-source internal alpha or beta releases. The GDL prohibits sharing and redistribution.
The latest version can be found here: http://media.ginever...license-gdl.txt
The Ginever Adaptation License (GAL)
Designed for open-source code which can be freely edited and redistributed with modifications in a compiled form.
The latest version can be found here: http://media.ginever...license-gal.txt
The Ginever Engine License (GEL)
License which covers GinENGINE.
The latest version can be found here: http://media.ginever...license-gel.txt
