How can there be a spellmaster 2 when there was never a spellmaster 1.

This gets used on a regular basis by numerous people, including Paul, Basin and Chris. They are all looking forward to the new version!

Damn Straight Rob. Spellmaster 1 was great, I look forward to a program that doesn't care how I spell "Vulshock".

Haha. You mean Vulshok surely? Let's go check that.

Yep. Vulshok. There is no C.

A basic spelling correction system has been added which will automatically correct common mis-spellings (e.g. Silvok not Sylvok, Smoulder not Smolder, EI where it should be IE, etc.)

Unfortunately for you guys, I won't be adding support for anything other than Magic: the Gathering in Spellmaster 2, since I really have no need for it to support anything else.

The original Spellmaster could quite easily be adapted to work with ANY trading card game though, since it's basically just a card-placing program.

I just released a patch to SVN for Spellmaster Classic. It includes the following fix:
"If you attempt to play Vulshock Replica, it will now auto-correct your input to Vulshok Replica, in order to stop Basin moaning that he cannot spell Vulshok."
